Update : poll added It now seems likely that Joshua will face Miller in MSG and Brook vs Khan is no longer an option as well for Wembley, so I have been informed by credible sources Hearn has contacted Wladimir Klitschko about a possible ring return. Klitschko earlier messaged Joshua he feels he currently beats all the HW's. Part of the plan is to make it a mega HW event, with match ups considered as Usyk-Povetkin, Chisora-Parker, Price-Takam, Allen-Browne. To be continued...
Cant see it.. many of those fighters would want big paydays. I would imagine Wlad would want atleast £5m, Whyte £3-5m as its a risky fight for him and does not offer a title shot etc, that he would be missing out on if he sat tight for a shot at AJ. Usyk must be on a decent pay deal to have signed with Matchroom so north of £1m. Povetkin similar and thats before the undercard. If this did a million buys and 80,000 tickets it would only likely generate £16-20m in revenue, wouldnt be much profit for Matchroom once they pay the rest of the undercard Chisora, Parker, Allen and Browne plus more. Also Matchroom have too many dates to fill, for all of their fighters to be fighting on one card and potentially only fighting once more this year.
Whyte vs. Wlad does that really make sense. Wlad is probably 60% of his prime now, still enough for Whyte. But what does he gain for legacy if he beats Whyte? No title, no legacy, I don't see any gain here. Does he need another $5 million? I doubt it.
Bull****. As we have been told over and ove again, AJ is contracted to fight on Sky at Wembley. They wouldn't lie about that would they?
Whyte has become too dangerous for Joshua and somebody needs to take care of the threat. Whyte v Price is possible too.
No according to everything they have said over the past 6 months. They couldn't emphasise enough how Joshua has signed a 2 fight deal for Wembley
If Wlad indeed came back vs. Whyte ít would mean he's broke or completely brain-damaged. I don't see either as a realistic possibility.
