Eddie Hearn must be doing something right as he's successfully got under the skin of a lot angry posters.
Hearn’s first DAZN flop show will have to compete with Khabib-Conor and the UFC card just lmfao, impending L for Hearnz.
WTF you on about? Eddie flopped harder than I could have ever believed. Still no marquee signing for him. Nobody even talks about his "massive budget" anymore. Didn't sign any of the fighters he publicly said he was going after. Now the clear #2 boxing promoter on DAZN behind Goldenboy. Had his last UK PPV rejected by DAZN. It's not looking good at all for Hearn. I actually feel bad for him tbh.
You shouldn't feel bad for a smarmy millionaire who isn't half as clever as he think he is. That said the OP makes it sound like you think about him a bit too much anyway.
You're so right. I mean, I don't like a boxing promoter so post every now and again about it on one boxing forum. I must be sick! Big love to all the mentally stable heroes who are on here daily bigging him up though. Lol.
Hearn's Ace card is Joshua. As long as he promotes Joshua, he holds the power over the HW division. Furthermore, the Sky deal gives him a massive PPV platform that the American market can only exploit a few times a year (they dont have a PPV megastar anymore). Hearn can put on 10+ PPVs and fill out numerous stadiums a year.
This post was just plain wrong in every sense. AJ isn't an ace card by any means. The US market doesn't care about him anywhere near as much as you seem to think. Plus he's resigned to fighting on DAZN. AJ's nowhere near the PPV star 2019 Pacman is. Also, even with ultra low ticket prices he hasn't filled out a stadium in a while. His gates and overall revenues are pretty tame in US terms. Hearn doesn't have any other fighter who can half fill a stadium so I don't know where these 10+ shows are coming from.
Lookie, lookie, Hearn boy is still going. And those first 2 years are almost up. Will be an interesting few months.
So how dumb do you feel now? GBP lost Canelo and his deal with DAZN. Hearn steps in and immediately gets Canelo back on board. And a Hearn got Canelo a fight. Something Oscar failed to do. Long live King Hearn!
Hearn hinted at Canelo fighting on DAZN still. On his recent boxing social interview when asked about the lawsuit he said he expects Canelo v GGG in May on DAZN. The lawsuit seems more about Canelo getting away from Golden Boy than getting away from DAZN. Canelo will be a free agent signing no long term deal with anyone.
Yup. I would add that it was obvious that Canelo did not like the idea of him having to take a fight or sit it out. If DAZN is not happy with his opponent, Canelo can easily go somewhere else. Smart move. The guy obviously wants to fight.
