    BEFORE the Mikey fight was official:
    • Mikey has no shot; fight is absurd!
    • Mikey is too small
    • Mikey will be destroyed
    AFTER the Mikey fight was official:
    • Mikey has a good chance of winning
    • Spence is in tough
    • Some are picking Mikey to win

    Why do you think this is happening? Are the wheels coming off of the Spence hype train?

    Garcia is world class and has a chance against anyone in and around his weight class.

    But Spence is massive favourite and will likely KO him

    MIkey's the better fighter p4p IMO, I think that's why people aren't underestimating him.

    The closer the fight is the more and more I feel Mikey might pull it off.

    It would be an amazing win.

    People calling a 5'9 fit, but not overly muscular guy, a huge welter is laughable. If Spence is a huge welter, then what was Margarito? De La Hoya? Cintron? Williams? Forrest? Jones etc.?

    Mikey is a smart kid so he must have seen something he thinks he can exploit but to me this seems totally reckless. He looks to me like a complete crash dummy here and I think he gets worked HARD. But props, and win or lose hes still a great fighter.

    This. Plus he looks to be filling out nicely at the weight.

    Spence hasn’t had an aura of invincibility since Brook had so much success. Garcia’s a more complete fighter than Brook with better defense, albeit a bit smaller. If he can avoid eating a load of bodyshots like Brook did, who knows. It’s an intriguing match up and you can’t rule Mikey out.
