I'm sure he's in awesome shape, but he's still well into his forties. Whyte isn't half the boxer, but he's tough, hard hitting, active and much younger. If I was Wlads friends I'd be sending him the latest updates on Adonis Stephenson and asking him to think again.

Wlad looked slow to me in a recent sparring clip. But he has also been sparring Usyk recently so somehow that must gave him so confidence, who knows. He should be able to beat Whyte normally. I read people here also don't think Wlad does not need this fight. Actually he does... He has been a champ for a decade but has two consecutive defeats and his last win was 4 years ago. Whyte is much more deserving of a title shot than Klitschko atm. If he's serious about a comeback, he should fight guys like Whyte first to actually (H)earn his shot.

I just roughly worked from 1m buys at £20 is £20m which is split with Sky at a guess 50/50 so £10m and at an upper end 70/30 in Matchrooms favour so £14m and 80,000 tickets at an average of £75 a ticket is £6m. So worked from £16-20m plus overseas broadcasting rights.

Amen brother, plus what people also over look is since his aj fight whyte’s opponents are always given either shortened notice witch leads to shortened camps minus chisora, Allen Lewinson helenius Parker all had shortened camps.

Before any Whyte fans bang on about how whyte had a short camp just like parker no he did not he was in training for that date long before parker’s Camp was even approached parker had a 5 week camp with one week involving him flying from New Zealand to England for the first press conference then to Las Vegas to start training it’s almost as if whyte’s camp and Hearn are trying to compensate for the fact whyte has a terrible gas tank.

Yes, of course. No matter how hard you train, at 42 years old you can't be as good as you were at 30...

Spot on. Wlad didn't get hit enough to be brain damaged and he seems far too intelligent to squander the money he made from boxing.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was true tbh. As sensible as the two Ukrainians seem, no one wants to turn away that type of money and Wlad has recently separated from his long term partner and is the sole custodian of his daughter. These type of events have a habit of increasing your spending somewhat.

Now Eddie can say "bu buut Whyte is fighting (insert fighter's name here) so we can't do Joshua in April for X reason". C'mon you know the way this guy works by now.

Wlad is going to end up like RJJ if he keeps fighting. He should stay retired instead if going after young prime fighters. 30-35 year old Wlad would brutally KO somebody like Whyte, but he is in his 40s now.

Guy asked me a question and I answered it. No way all of those fighters fight on one card. Time for you to grow up.
