Should Broner keep Pac from getting inside by using the jab like Floyd did? Do you feel Broner`s jab will be key in tis bout?

Jab and run during the early rounds waiting for the older man to wear himself out... Then turn it on in the 8th or 9th.

Broner is in dire need of a win to turn his career around, so I see him playing it safe.

Broner needs to dish out a sustained body attack from the opening bell.

That is what he needs to do, what he will do is hold a high guard, pose, ponce around, dance and probably lose a wide decision.

But if Broner gets going immediately, attacks that old and worn body and fights at a steady pace with a solid output then he has a chance.

Do you feel only a fighter as good as Leonard could outjab Manny now?

Despite getting the dominant stoppage win in his last fight I thought Manny looked a lot slower then he usually has I think that what Broner needs to do is hang back in the first couple of rounds Jab move and just measure Manny's range and unorthodox Style and avoid punishment early then from about round 5 on needs to start to put his punches together and see if he can back Manny up at all but still fight measured.

if he can lower mannys output and dictate the pace a little kind of how Bradley and horn off set his offense into limited bursts he can be successful

I dont think he is going to win but if hes in great shape and fights smart this could be a close one

Manny Pacquiao is pretty **** poor at cutting off the ring. The best he ever really did with that was Chris Algieri.

If Broner could really utilize the ring and work the jab he would be in great shape as the younger, bigger, longer fighter. That would be tough for a 40y/0 Pacman.

Fortunately for Pac moving and jabbing are Broner's worst traits. He's tailor made for Pacman.

    Tailor made.

This will look like a poor version of Pacquiao vs Clottey

    He should study these fights:

    Uzcategui vs Dirrell I
    Jones vs Griffin I
    Granados vs Fortuna

First of all Floyd has far more reach and height than broner. Second, Pac doesn’t really get outjabbed, he was out jabbing cotto, he’s a far better jabber than broner. Third, Floyd didn’t really beat him with the jab, he beat him with distance. Pac fights at mid range or punching range, so Floyd stayed out of that range as best as he can to the point of running, and when Pac did close the distance Floyd would lean over and force a clinch, either too far to reach or smothering Pac up close.

Perfect strategy and what Floyd uses when he really needs to be careful. Kinda like how different he fought maidana in 2 vs maidana 1.

As the shorter fighter, pacs only chance was counterpunching and he had a couple of success with that, go for broke in an all out assault so tactics goes out the window like maidana but he didn’t have the stamina for that and presumably the shoulder, or score a big punch that hurt or ko’s Floyd.

Broner is nowhere near that league to execute the same perfect strategy. He gets worked unless pacs chin is broken and he catches him coming in and knocks Pac out.

Keep his hands up at all times is his best strategy.

I think more flatfooted and load up and use the speed and test his chin. Boxing won't work. He is not good enough.

For This PPV, out of the $74.99, Broner is worth $4.99, Pacman is worth $70.00
