    If you are going to compare the greatest most talented in sport. Then Ronnie O'Sullivan is the person to compare against. And nobody in any sport is as talented as Ronnie is in snooker.

    I think football is not a good match to boxing, tennis fits much better (even the styles make fights argument applies here). Federer is the GOAT, I don't think Loma can compare, but who can?

    Nah, you couldn't even begin to make an argument for anyone coming close to what prime Messi did over a 90 minute football match. Past or present it was just a completely different level.

    Comparing athletes from team to individual sports doesn't really work out.

    Besides, Messi isn't even the greatest Argentinian footballer.

    Messi is better than Maradona in every way. The only advantage Maradona has is the World Cup.

    Messi has 585 goals in 690 games, 106 in 129 for the Champions League. Let alone the assists he gets each year. Maradona had half of that by the end of his career. He scored 73 in a single season once, seventy ****ing three.

    Anyone who doesn't think Messi is the greatest to ever play is blind or fooling themselves on nostalgia.

    Who's Ronald? But yes Ronaldo and Messi are both gods in a far more competitive sport than boxing. There are literally millions of humans trying to make it in soccer(yes it's soccer not football), boxing only a handful. So Loma isn't even close to that level, boxing has become less competitive, while soccer gets more competitive.
