Canelo angry to be overlooked for the Fighter of the Year

you're a freakin tool lol. shadow is a pretty common user name in general. i see posters with the name shadow all the time. but when it comes to boxing, there's shadow boxing which is the reason for this name.

so you're saying that there's a user named shadow at the Scene and that just has to be me huh? i'm being 100% real with you I am not a member there, I do not post there.

 

First off, him getting "banned" lol. first of all he didn't get "banned" he got suspended. getting banned sounds so much worse and you obviously use it for added effect. he wasn't "banned" he was suspended, not because he was proven to do anything wrong but because of the NSAC's recently updated policy that required a suspension no matter the substance or the amount.

And I already stated that the reason he didn't get FOTY had to do with all that. That's the only logical reason why he wouldn't be FOTY or on the short list. There was no bigger win in boxing this year than Canelo beating GGG. That alone may not have won him FOTY but winning a title at 168 Fielding or not is two big accomplishments that are FOTY worthy.

So we can only conclude that it was the clenbuterol situation that is why he's not FOTY or on the short list. You don't need to be a GGG fanatic to point that out. Nor do you need to be a GGG fanatic to believe that GGG deserved the win in either fight (though you can't be one without believing that). But there's no rule that says you can't win FOTY and test for a banned substance and given the high likelihood of it being due to meat contamination in Mexico which is a well known problem and due to Canelo's involvement in year round testing, it's a disgrace for the BWAA would use that to prevent Canelo from winning FOTY when the NSAC and governing bodies cleared Canelo and ended his suspension due to additional testing.

You're gonna need to elaborate on what you mean by GBP and Canelo's "dirty ways". Frankly, you sound like a GGG fanatic saying that, but it doesn't prove you are until you explain what you mean. But there are in fact plenty of GGG fanatics around here and many of them constantly make up stuff about Canelo because it suits their agenda.

 

I agree that the shadows in the scene and here are different persons. It's only logical that Oscar has hired multiple shadows to do his dirty work on online boxing forums. Look at our shadow's username shadow111, that probably means there are at least 110 other shadows running around, all hired by Oscar De La Hoya.

So Oscar just has to snap his fingers and Canelo is fighter of the year huh? Just like that ?? If Oscar yielded that kind of power surely he could have made Canelo FOTY this year. The logic to your theory just doesn't add up.

It really irritated me when he and his team seemed to show no sign of remorse or of being apologetic about being caught doping, accident or not they could of been more empathetic about the whole situation but they sneered at everybody about it. What they are saying now irratates me in a similar way. Let them be fighter of the year any other year but you failed drugs tests and was suspended (not banned). That alone is surely enough to rule you out for that year.

 

FWIW I don't think Shadow is a paid shill. I personally believe him to be a genuine if misguided cinnamon chugging nut hugger.
