Yeah, I agree, but... you could also dissect his entire resume, Easter arguably was coming off of three losses, Lipinets looked very beatable against Kondo beforehand and Bone afterward, Zlaticanin's best win was Ricky Burns... eh, Broner should have been coming off of a loss or a draw against Granados. Juanma Mikey was overweight for, Salido while h'd have probably won vi a wide UD, he took the easy way out, that leaves his finest untainted wins.... Rocky Martinez and Burgos.
Sure, but with most fighters you don't usually have to stretch your powers of dissection & granular nitpicking like that over a run of ten consecutive fights without a single tomato can, tuneup, or sub-C+ fighter, with that level of consistent dominance over the B's. Kind of the same reason Crawford's resume is unimpeachable, although his net quality is higher than Mikey's.
Hes a very good fighter. Just like Garcia, I think to this point has proven. But without ever fighting an A level opponent how can we be sure he doesnt have clear vulnerabilities as a fighter? Garcia has longevity, the layoff notwithstanding and has numerous title defenses over top 10 guys. And Gvozdyk much less so. But there is hardly anybody on Garcias resume who would seriously bother Gvozdyk at LHW. I think H2H Gvozdyk is more dangerous at his weight.
LOL, I thought I was being a Maverick when i picked him to win. I didn't remeber that by the way. Thanks for reminding me. So I guess you think Gvozdyk is better than Garcia?
It’s very generous calling some of those guys B-. I’d call Mikey a B, Broner a B-. That’s why Broner had no real trouble landing when he decided to throw.
