I agree I only mean that he is the guy who most the guys find high risk low reward.

Ffs Parker?? Lool, anyway I got three words for you: Styles make fight.

If they can beat him why don’t they fight him, he is willing to fight everyone of those guys you named.

Why don’t they fight him? They would all get a mandatory shot in the WBC if they did lol. He is willing to fight anyone of them, Miller said no, Whyte said no, tbf Povetkin never said anything and Pulev doesn’t fight anyone who is in the top 10z

No, as a matter of fact I'm guessing Deontay is quite happy that fights aren't 8 rounds.

But still, why would people here get so happy over Usyk beating a 55, now 56 year old?

How is beating a failed world title challenger the gateway to a mandatory?

Ortiz has done nothing to earn his reputation, he brings no money and certainly does not guarantee a shot at the WBC title...

Happy? I don’t care if Usyk wins or loses, may the best man win. I would be impressed with Usyk if in his first fight at HW, he beats a top 5 ranked HW. I don’t care about age Wlad was 41 and gave AJ all he can handle.

Why would they? There are other more proven fighters than Ortiz with bigger fans bases and pay days out there.

Only with the WBC which the title holder of has a repuation of only fighting out of shape inactive fighters (such as Fury, Ortiz, Stiverne and Arreola) and a notorious ducker of the real threats (e.g. turning down fights against AJ and Whyte). All that and if your lucky enough to fight the champion the payout is pennies in comparison to fighting the other champion of the 3 belts.

Usyk gets huge credit if he beats Ortiz in his first fight at HW, what a statement that would be. The only reason Ortiz hasn’t stacked up a better resume is most guys see him as high risk/low reward, the guy fights anyone. Outside of Fury, AJ,and Wilder he has the potential to beat them all.

Agreed! In my opinion Usyk and Garcia are going for ATG status. Loma and Crawford are equally skilled but, not doing enough. Loma needs to fight more. Going on 4-5 years as a pro and only 12 fights. Crawford needs to step up his comp. This coming from a guy that likes all the above mentioned.

So, he's had 50 years on this earth to make his mark but hasn't done it. But he apparently fights anyone! It's just that he's not actually beaten anyone of note....but he could if only people would over-pay him! So unfair!
Why are people demanding Ortiz get the big pay days handed to him?
He got his shot ahead of some others equally deserving, and blew it.
Compare Whyte's resume after his loss to NON champ AJ and Ortiz's record post-Wilder, it's fu(king night and day!
Ortiz is C class and has 0 motivation to prove otherwise.
