Here is how I see it. Garcia is slightly but clearly the more consistent, skilled, defensively responsible, and technically superior of the two -- the better p4p talent. He has moved up numerous weight classes to the point he is on the small side of his current weight class so H2H I agree the Nail more favorably matches up better against the competition in his weight class. But I think hes physically a better horse if you will between the two and uses his clearly more impressive physical, athletic, and physical profile gifts better than Mikeys lesser ones and thats why I think he is the better H2H fighter between the two in their respective classes. But he often fights down to his opponents level, doesnt have the instincts and ring IQ and generalship that Mikey has either which also adds to him beating less than stellar opponents nowhere near as badly as he should. Mikey's CV is definitely better but Gvozdyk almost always if not always is easily the far more impressive specimen compared to his competition when he enters the ring. Mikey has beaten some really good fighters in spite of being the lesser specimen, and that speaks to his better(imo) skills and technical abilities p4p compared to Gvozdyk. The nail might go his entire career never facing an opponent he doesnt totally outclass physically/athletically and taller/longer than. As far as skill goes, the only area I think the Nail is better than Mikey might be footwork.
