    Hopkins can't beat Canelo's judges.

Hopkins comfortably....this would be a boring fight between 2 skilled counterpunchers. Hopkins 8-4....he does not need to worry about Canelos judges as mentioned above, because unlike GGG Hopkins would actually win the fight in the ring, not by crying on message boards.

Hopkins have too much mental toughness and ring generalship for Canelo.

You think Hops can KO Canelo? No. He can't. And if it goes to the cards ginger is beating him 8-4, even if he really lost 8-4. You know it as well as I do.

The facts speak for themselves. Ask Floyd about 114-114.

Corrupt judging wouldn't matter. A pre Taylor Hopkins would win just as clearly as Floyd and wouldn't play it safe like Floyd. He also hits quite a bit harder than Floyd. It would be a very clear decision win for Hopkins, whether he mauled, and ground Canelo down in a phone booth, or whether he boxed him, and pot shotted him.

Hopkins doesnt have the popularity or influence that Floyd had to avoid getting shafted by the judges. Canelo wins a controversial decision against Hopkins.

He may even straight up beat Hopkins. He has a big speed and defence advantage. His chin is also clearly better than Hops at 160.

Boxrecers don't know that Hops was robbed that night. They also don't realize that Canelo would die fighting at Quito's altitude in a 100 plus degree arena. The Hopkins that made Mercado his ***** in the rematch under normal conditions, would destroy Canelo. The Hopkins that lost to Roy would also beat Canelo's arse. Hopkins would never need gift decisions to beat Lara, Trout or Golovkin. He would abuse a flat footed shorter opponent like Canelo.
