Maybe canelo only looks invoninvin was because he has fought fighters that use no rythmic movement and are longer than him. Ever since after the Khan fight. He's fought. Liam smith Chavez Jr. GGG .Rocky Fielding with GGG being best name on hos resume . His opponents that always had rythmic movement like trout Lara cotto Mayweather . They gave canelo a tough fight . Canelo has looked good as of late maybe because he's fought nothing but come forward fighters who don't fight often on the backfoot. Even Khan .who has legs and is athletic gave canelo problems . Canelo has improved on his inside (in the pocket game ) but right now he's in a division were most top guys have movement and skills great jabs. Guys like Jacobs .saunders. Derevyanchenko Andrade charlo . All these guys are longer and have legs speed and power . They all have to rythmic movement . Canelo might lose to one of these guys soon .

His biggest flaw imo is that he can't cut off the ring.

    What's rhythmic movement?

A rhythm by itself is easy to follow and is predictable. For example what Mayweather was really good at was setting a rhythm and then breaking it.
As stated above, Canelo has never been great at cutting off the ring.

What Khan was able to take advantage of was Alvarez staying on the line with him. Alvarez showed very little lateral movement and thus was always there to be hit. He relied on his upper body movement and reflexes. And with Khan was able to capitalize on it with his superior hand speed.

Every fighter has his weaknesses, Alvarez's is his footwork. He likes to plant his feet. This is why guys like Lara give him hell.

Exactly my point. Most of the top fighters have the legs and atglathl ability to get away .

Name the middleweight with this ability. Someone who could dance circles around Alvarez. None of them can. there is no one at 147-175 who could do what Floyd and Lara could.
Trout wasn't on the level of Mayweather and Lara. Those two are the anomalies. Trout was known for being slick and having a fantastic jab.
Guys like Khan like to move more, but they are not specialists. It didn't take long for Alvarez to get rid of him.

I reckon Saunders causes Canelo all sorts of problems.

I'm not saying you need to be like floyd I'm just saying the guys at 160 right now give canelo hell . because they aren't regular come forward fighters

With the exception of BJS, everyone else in the division has similar footwork to Alvarez. None of them are better at him than he is.
Not a single MW is going to exploit Canelo's footwork(again, with the exception of BJS).

Canelo's biggest flaw is his small gas tank. It's been looking better lately but I still think a pressure swarmer would rip a hole in it and work him over. I could be wrong, he's clearly been working at improving it.

Nah.......none of those mentioned boxers above will beat Canelo. It's extremely difficult to beat Canelo by decisions because Oscar won't let that happen. It's also very difficult to beat Canelo by way of K.O. because he has a granite chin. So Canelo doesn't have to be serious about his flaws.

Actually I strongly disagree these other middleweights footwork are not the same as canelos footwork . These guys are faster on their feet jermall Charlo was able to keep up the pace with Austin trout following him where ever he went in the ring .
