How corrupt is boxing? Is it possible that through $$$ and influence BJS was stripped of his title as a form of insurance so that If GGG beat Canelo, Alvarez would be able to fight for (and win) the WBO middleweight title? It's kind of insane I know but like I said, how corrupt is Boxing?
I have a better conspiracy theory..... 2 actually. Golden Boy robbed GGG to ensure a third fight, so Canelo can continue to ignore BJS for the foreseeable future, and as an added bonus, GGG can too. Meanwhile Hearn had just signed Andrade, Saunders is with Warren, Hearn didn't want his boy to lose his shiny 0, which he would have, so they got the belt by circumventing BJS altogether.
I also think Top Rank sent Manny down here to Australia to get robbed so they could get that belt to Carwford.
On the one hand, I don't believe this because it really seems like GGG and Canelo hate each other's guts. On the other hand, ODLH was going on about a trilogy even before the first fight was done, which is kind of, uh, very suspicious. Saunders is probably going to go back into slob mode sooner or later and then people will be queueing up to fight him. He's the sort of fighter that you definitely don't want to fight at his best, but who is quite beatable when he lets himself go.
You think , really ?? Proper stinks bad Like a lot of fighters before him, when he knows his up against it he will be in fantastic shape, but your right he has come in **** against lower opposition imo
There's a lot in boxing that stinks to high heavens, and if we really knew everything what happened behind the scenes, some of it would actually be far worse as we imagined while other things that seemed fishy at the surface were actually completely on the level. Although it might be that Saunders was stripped by the WBO in favor of the bigger promoter's boy, there's probably also a lot beyond that what influenced that decision. 1) Saunders got caught on a banned substance, another fight off while he should have defended against his mandatory. 2) For all different kinds of reasons, a lot of BJS's fights were called off and he was very inactive. Not good for the WBO. 3) Saunders' actions as of late (or actually for some time now) have made him unpopular and a liability. 4) The WBO had looked the other way for too long now, probably hoping for Saunders to land a Golovkin or Alvarez fight.
If I keep my conspirisist's tin foil hat I'd say - pretty much all top boxers are juiced and when they get pinged it's because it suits an agenda. WBO would take Canlo's $$$ twice a year over BJS's small $ once a year.
Unfortunately we live in a climate where money talks, and for that reason any man can be bought for the right place.
These rumors resurface regularly in many places. Last one i heard from crazy, deranged lunatics in dire need of attention is the popular conspiracy theory claiming boxing is a clean sport. Naturally, everybody instantly laughs at these preposterous allegations the minute they're spouted off.
