Not saying it's certain but they can definitely get the scorecards close enough to were canelo might lose
I reckon Saunders caused himself more problems sniffing all that nasal spray than he would cause Canelo lol.
30 year old trout coming off four fresh wins in a row . This trout wasn't inactive like the one Jarrett Hurd fought .
I think Canelo has improved on his flaws - feet & stamina. He'll never have the feet of Pernel Whittaker or the stamina of Joe Calzaghe but he is a very good fighter and appears to be getting better.
We have to apply this logic to canelo as well . Canelo beat a past prime 36 year old GGG. . he also beat a 40 year old past prime Mosley and a 35 year old cotto that was damaged by margarito
You seem to know really little about what footwork actually is. First of all, Jermall got a gift that night. And Trout, while on the back foot, mostly stood in front of Jermall. Alvarez is a pressure fighter, this is why he has some issues with guys who rely on footwork. BJS is the only one at MW with elite level footwork(in terms of moving a lot). Who at MW can move like Lara and Floyd?
Again no one can move like them . All I'm saying is you don't need that kind of level of footwork to beat canelo
True. But he fought Mosley before his True but it was a 22 y.o. Canelo who fought Mosley, Cotto was a belt holder as was GGG. GGG at 36 is obviously not prime but still beats just about everyone.
Then what do you need? Majority of the current top MW's like to stay on the line, which plays into Canelo's strengths. It's not like Alvarez is just standing still in one place. He knows how to move and has proven it time and time again.
I mean that. Middleweights right now are all different types of opponens that have chances at actually beating him
