Yarde might knock Burton spark out, but I hand on heart genuinely couldn’t guess if he was capable of doing so. I have no idea how good he is. He’s never fought anyone who can hurt him or has even realistically come to win. He’s fought non punchers who retreat to the ropes who are just there to survive. He’s plodded along, happy to fight at his own pace and rhythm.
He’s learnt one-way boxing...I’ve noticed Yarde really likes to set himself when he throws, probably because he can cos nothing of any note comes back. To me, it looks like you could really cause him problems with a good jab straight away, combined with a bit of decent footwork I honestly think he could be nullified with ease. At present, if he was forced to fight at a higher pace, with a jab in his face and body, he’d unravel quickly.
Yes he's learning the pitter-pat dance hands on the pads and his human flag thing, which is actually very impressive tbh. He should change his wee chant to "Learning in the Camp"
Yep, agree. To his credit, I certainly think his power looks legit. Sjekloca is reasonably decent and I had some hopes for his progression after that...but nope, nothing really. Like if he needs more learning fights, fine whatever, but if you don't run the risk of adversity then I'm unsure what you're learning, truly.
