    Roach has been doing some work with Manny and says the speed of Manny`s punches left him more numb than when he sparred with Mike Tyson many years ago! Do you believe this?! I feel at welter fighters like Hearns and Simon Brown hit hardr than Manny let alone devastating heavies, do you agree? Roach sparred with Wlad also!

    Roach “SPARRED” with Wlad and Tyson huh?! :lol:

    He wouldn’t be able to put together a sentence right now dude. And no I don’t believe Roach when he is insinuating Manny is hitting harder than either one of those two. He’s just excited Pac is cracking good right now though and that’s good news.

    I know guys that fought and trained at the same time as Roach and from what I heard, Roach didn’t back down from nobody, it’s multiple stories with Roach being in fights in and out of the ring. The Tyson sparring is true (obviously Tyson didn’t go hard), not sure about the Wlad, he might held mits for him, idk.

    Roach lacked skill but had balls like no other.

    Lol, yes. One guy I used to train with went to Wlads camp in Germany, he said Wlad was trying to hurt everyone in sparring, my friend took a beating but managed to stay in camp the whole time while some other high ranked boxers got sent home. So yes, if Roach sparred with Wlad, he would likely be dead by now.

    Roach is much older now than when he was working with Tyson, so obviously his own body is deteriorated to the point where smaller fighters who can punch feel like heavyweight shots.

    I doubt very seriously Roach could work and do mitts with a contending heavyweight today coming at him hard, only then would he be able to say Manny is hitting harder than them.
