    Round 8

Ndongeni looks gassed despite being the only man in the ring with 12-round experience (having gone that length half a dozen times). Haney is walking him down, putting jabs in his face, and then cricket-batting him with solid whacks downstairs when Ndongeni ducks the jabs. Haney landing more with his arms than with his gloves, but effectively damaging nonetheless, everything he lands contributing to slow Ndongeni down further. Haney attacking with a mix of body shots followed up by heavy right hands on the head, rattling Ndongeni a bit in the corner.

    10-9 Haney

    79-72 Haney

The one round Pedraza actually tried in, he dominated. Davis is puny and would look tiny at 135.

    Round 9

Ndongeni gets drawn into repetitive exchanges with Haney, gets the worst of it, then visibly shakes the cobwebs, giving a quick swivel of the head and jumping once more unto the breach. Ndongeni throwing right hands past Haney's jab, countering him and then slugging lefts into the body. Haney is bearing his weight down on the smaller man, bucking him against the ropes and then flipping jabs up into his face, back-handed off the lead hip. Haney is attempting to walk Ndongeni onto counter uppercuts but Ndongeni carefully manages the angles he lunges in to attack from so that he is only ever grazed.

    10-9 Haney

    89-81 Haney

Xolisani's coach asks him for "three minutes of hell. Do it for me, eh?"

    Round 10

Ndongeni ducks in past Haney's jab and skewers him with a right on the body. Haney misses a couple of jabs, takes a flailing right up top, and switches momentarily to southpaw, flicking a right jab into the air. Haney just playing around, running down the clock, not going for the kill. Ndongeni playing it safe as well, dancing around, peppering in some body shots, jumping in to put Haney in a headlock and spin until Bruce McDaniel orders a break. They wrestle their way into a corner and Haney does some infighting, roughing Ndongeni up, elbowing him in the pecs, winging his fists off the hips. BIG hooks on the face, Ndongeni laying on the ropes, exhausted, taking hit after hit. 15 seconds left. Ndongeni tries holding and shoves Haney across the ring, almost sending both of them down into a tumbling heap.

    10-9 Haney

    99-90 Haney

Good performance by haney. This guy was tough and didnt come to lay down. Haney is still only 20 and will get better.

    Good skill not much power.
Ryan Garcia would have knocked Ndongeni out.

Haney vs luke Campbell would be a good fight. Not ready for a title shot yet imo.
