Yes. Even 6'2 is too short today. You should be 6'3 at least! Most HWs are 6'4 or taller.

I dont think it is impossible for a 6ft guy to compete in todays super tall heavyweight era but a 6ft guy would need to be a very very good Boxer to be able to get close enough to actually do anything without taking damage and carry enough power to bother one of these heavies enough to not just consider walking right through him. Or have freakishly long arms.

 

Absolutely not. You need to have other compensatory factors, but it isn't too short.

In today's era I'd say yes it's too small, average heavyweight now is about 6'4" and 230lbs plus.

Athletes in general are getting bigger in almost all sports, from tennis, boxing, football, etc. You'll get the odd athlete that is an outlier like Messi, Pac, Halep etc that find a way to compete with naturally bigger opposition but in general bigger is better.

Plus I don't think there are many good trainers left that know how to teach smaller fighters how to make their size work for them. Maybe if there was a Cus D'Amato around today we'd see a few more shorter heavies succeed, but then again maybe not as boxing like any sport evolves and people did learn how to deal with how Tyson fought over time and this current era's closest thing to Tyson in Povetkin is still over 6' tall.

 

fury would never be able to keep him off that china chin. joshua might stand a 25% chance of winning. the other two are below 5%.

A 6'9 boxer with a good jab and exceptional foot and upper body movement isn't an easy match up for Mike. Mike probably walks through him and stops him but I don't think it's a fait accompli

fury is a bully who will crumble when stood up to. this is why he ducked so many big opponents. he has beaten bums, a short face first brawler with no power and around ten losses, a forty year old guy having problems with the ex and baby, and one of the worst champs ever. not a decent win among his career.
