Calzaghe would never take this fight, ever. If he did, he'd pull out, like he did 3 freaking times against Glen Johnson.

I tend to agree with u @El Chicano:

Though i think GGG would be a bit more competitive than Lacy

To beat GGG if you're not a slick counter puncher fighting off the back foot you need to have good hand speed, get off first, and you have to be accurate and land you're shots first. Calzaghe had the hand speed to throw and land when GGG opens up to get his shots off but GGG is way too good and skilled to get Lacey'd. It would be razor close either way but one thing I'm almost sure would happen is that Calzaghe would hit the deck at least once during this fight. Calzaghe SD.

We’ve never seen GGG at 168, never mind against one of the greatest ever at the weight. I lean Calzaghe by decision. Probably close.

My no1 and no2 Calzaghe and GGG. Joe was a big super middle, GGG average sized middle. I got joe on points but he ****ing massively knows about it, like maybe a return needed and still no clearer. Probably me twisting it where there is no winner though lol

He tried to pull out "injured" against Lacy but Enzo made him fight

He wasn't ever truly in love with Boxing Joe, he just happened to be special at it, couldn't get up for fights unless forced

You don't see a trilogy and fans still confused who the best is like me:D ??? Like the joint best ever from 160-168 !!!! I think this is the first fight ever that they take an angle grinder down the belt and split it half each and everyone's happy

Maybe Joe by close decision but this fight takes literally years off his (hypothetical) career.

He undoubtedly tastes the canvas at one point.

Maybe edges it through sheer output but then again I just don't see Joe even putting a dent in Golovkin's armoury.

114-113 for Calzaghe today, but could just as easily be a Golovkin win tomorrow.

GG is a great fighter, with lots of great attributes. But he's not particularly fast, he's easy enough to hit, he marks up, he doesn't possess a big reach, and as of yet, he's never even fought up at SMW.

Joe was a big southpaw who had a reach advantage, and who possessed very fast hands and great stamina.

The favourite would have to be Joe via a decision.
