That’s why I wonder when I posted a h2h involving a prime Moore (hard to tell when that is for him) against Holyfield I was laughed at lol. Still think he beats Holyfield heads up. Really smart fighter.
I think he'd possibly beat a cruiser weight Holyfield. I just think that Holyfield at heavy would have just been too strong as he was used to dealing with bigger, modern heavies that Moore had never seen such as Tyson, Bowe, Lewis.
You know in say 59 or even early 60s ,I often wondered how Arch would have done vs. top boyz Machen,FOLLEY. I WONDER NO MORE great piece thanks for research and info.
205 Holyfield was when he was best...got worse the bigger he got. Moore has dealt w bigger and stronger. Holyfield would have trouble w Moore timing him like Byrd.
I highly doubt Moore dealt with anyone stronger than Evander ,who out muscled Tyson. Holyfield beats Moore and Marciano ,imo.
I disagree and Moore’s fought a whole bunch of shws. I would also wager Marciano is stronger or just as strong as a juiced Holyfield.
