Elbiali is working Green over, jabs and body shots. Green is spending too may time laying on the ropes, catching shots on the outer edge of his forearms, but Elbiali keeps muscling his way in close and slamming home repeated combinations of heavy power shots, often breaking through Green's defenses and partially landing at least, between Green's jabs and lowered-drawbridge counters. Green is dropped by the ropes again with a pair of vicious left hooks across the nose. He insists he is okay, but the ref looks dubious. She gives him one more change, although his confident facial expression belies very shaky legs. Elbiali rushes him and starts hammering with right hands, several landing behind the neck and further shattering Green's equilibrium, but the veteran is able to grab the younger fighter around the waist and keep himself from plummeting onto the canvas. He clinches for the entire final minute until the bell.

Round 3

Green throws a jab & hook surging forward after immediately magnetizing himself onto the ropes, then clinches until the ref calls for a break. Elbiali smothers Green, jumping all over him whenever there is separation. Big looping head shots by Elbiali coursing inside, with nothing by way of retaliation from Green to discourage him. Big chopping right by Elbiali, and Green is down. Ref waves it off, no count.
