    Champs in either division:

Canelo is maybe the best p4p fighter on the list (and coincidentally that is the org with the lowest bar for the SMW champ to pass to look "better", Yafai being its weakest link - not to mention we don't even know if Canelo is going to pursue the division full-time), but the drop-off in quality after him at super middle is STEEP. Meanwhile you have a stacked class at super fly, with several world class talents currently not holding belts.

IBO in the SMW is either Degale or Eubank next month when they fight for it, not that it’s a proper world title or anything.

Of the 725 active super flyweights, there are two dozen that could reasonably contend with a nigh limitless number of competitive match-ups to be made. That's parity.

Of the 1,279 active super middleweights, besides Canelo there isn't a single fighter you'd really call special. There's nobody around in today's division that you could envision bagging so much as one round off the likes of recent greats Andre Ward, Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler or Joe Calzaghe. Wangek meanwhile fares well against pretty much any era's SFW greats..as does Chocolatito, and Nietes, and Ioka...

Without even the slightest bit of hesitation, f*** yeah.

Super Middleweight is still an abysmal wasteland, Super Flyweight is absolutely booming. Its a thrilling division.

Super middleweight is easily one of the worst division. We get no unifications for the most part, there are rarely any 50-50 match ups and when they do happen one person is usually past it. The 4 champs are damn near all undefeated. We don’t have one guy who has more than two top 10 names wins on his resume with a belt. Absolute waste these last couple of years

112 just a couple years back and now 115... better than almost perhaps every division, let alone 168.

The WBSS could've been the shot in the arm the division needed. Unfortunately, the lack of good fights there to follow it up has left the division back in purgatory between 160 and 175, which have really heated up the last few years.

I'd pick at least half of those to unify all the belts at 168 if they moved up, that's how much of a wasteland it is at the moment.

I like 108 but 115 is just next level.
