Barry using that soundbyte again, "AJ is in no rush. He has 7-8 years at the top. All the fights will happen in time".

Bazza & Eddie use this soundbyte in every interview now. Conditioning the viewers. They have no intention of fighting Wilder & Fury.

The Bazza fishing trip interview will go down in history: "Deontay Wilder wanted the fight straight away. That's my view. They wanted the fight straight away. Business crazy, and Shelley knows better than that."

I disagree. It’s not about AJ. It’s two big personalities fighting for a world title.

The first fight sold poorly in truth. 300k for that wasn't very good. Figures for the UK were garbage by all accounts.

You seem to think the rematch will be an absolutely enormous fight, but even if it does double the business it's not going to be bigger than what AJ does. People talk about them being big personalities and so on seemingly whilst ignoring their generally crap viewing figures.

Hiya Tony. Took you off ignore a few days back. I could tell when people were replying to you just by their messages. Pointless having you on ignore, you were still managing to boil my p**s :) You’re just one of those aggravating people and i’m gonna just have to learn to tolerate you better.

Anyway, that was 300k for a ppv that was priced at a staggering £65 kiddo. Over 3x the amount they rip us off with. I’ll be honest, I’m amazed they sell any at that price, it’s disgusting. So you can’t compare ppv sales for an event when one is priced at £20 and one is priced at £65.

It's not necessarily a comparison with PPV here. I mean, if I wanted to do that I'd just compare the fact that Fury did 500k on Box Office which was beaten by Haye Klitschko, Bellew Usyk, both Haye Bellew fights and obviously has been thrashed by Joshua several times over.

It's more that these two 'big personalities' fighting for the heavyweight title did average business compared to other American PPV fights. It sold a few more than Tarver v Jones and a few less than Bradley Marquez and they are hardly the comparisons you want for a fight you seem to be suggesting was as popular as you hoped.

Fury/Wilder generated 20 million dollars PPV money. That's before counting the gate money which by all accounts, was impressive.

The rematch will obviously generate significantly more money than that. It's a huge boxing match and payday in any era for any fighter not named Floyd Mayweather. Why would anyone say otherwise?

Have you ever touched a real woman, Tony? Before you answer, without consent does not count.

I think I'm meant to be gay aren't I? Or at least in a very intimate relationship with Eddie Hearn. That is of course if I'm not actually Hearn himself.

It did less than Bradley Marquez and now you're comparing it to any fight not involving Floyd.

I'm telling you, you Fury fanboys are absolutely delusional. A couple of knockdowns and all of a sudden this is going to do the same as Lewis Tyson. Nice one.

I'm sure I'll get there in the end. But nice of you to try the ad hominem route when your Fury fanaticism looked in danger of creeping into the realms of genuine mental illness. Either way, between you and Hattonmad (emphasis on the last three letters) I've now seen Fury compared to Ali in terms of personality, Mayweather in terms of ability, and now Tyson in terms of sales. Stick at this and you'll be telling me his voice sounds like Pavarotti.

Took you off ignore to see what all the fuss is about.

Your posts are word for word what Eddie Hearn says in interviews and you reel off past PPV fights/numbers so who knows what you are Tony.

You're not a genuine boxing fan, that's for sure.

The PPV numbers are very hard to find in fairness mate. You need to google 'pay per view' and then click on the Wikipedia article. Took me ages to work that out.

Imagine you calling somebody a fanboy. That's hilarious.

I was referencing the numbers for a rematch, which is clearly upsetting you. Why is Fury/Wilder 2 upsetting you?

Out of curiosity, what's your PPV projections for Fury/Wilder 2? First fight done in and around 325k American PPV buys at 65 dollars a pop. Don't know the UK numbers. Guessing over 100k.
