Floyd, handily. He was considerably better, imo.

Griffith style would be a handful for Floyd. He’d hammer out a clear UD.

Grffith definitely wins this at 147. Too strong, too good. Might even win by stoppage, but, Floyd probably makes it to the final bell.

Decision win for Mayweather. Griffith didn't hit hard enough to really trouble him.

I assure you Griffith hit a lot harder than Mayweather did. And, probably harder than Cotto and Mosely too. Griffith was a legitimate Welterweight who fought in an extremely deep era of good fighters.

Don't forget, there were two versions of Griffith: Pre & Post, Paret fight. Plus, Griffith was strong enough to beat Mr. Tiger twice, and Griffith floored Tiger in round nine of Fight One. It was the first knockdown of Tiger's career.

This really has “absolutely nothing” to do with a fight between Griffith and Floyd at 147

Yes, I'm well aware of that. Sometimes strange things happens, that you wouldn't have expected. Griffith was hardly a ko-boxer, but a good solid fighter, with an excellent chin… despite his blow-out by Carter (another thing that wasn't supposed to happen!).

I understand but I think it still proved Griffith could mix it with a legend which Floyd never really proved.
