They didn't say they would sanction it, they did sanction it, in fact:
And now, because both fighters were unable to negotiate, the WBC decided to change the purse split percentages. And, OK, they also set the dates.

That means it’s sanctioned, can go ahead, not ordered like it is now with the dates and splits. They are two different things. They could have ordered the brezeale mandatory instead, they make it up as they go along so yeah.

It would be funny if he scares Haymon into overpaying, whilst he only actually bid twenty bucks?

Fury ain't playing, Donkey is the one whose back is going to be hitting the canvas hard in the rematch and he doesn't possess that inner steel and gypsy fortitude to rise from the dead like the shadow of the drug-ravaged shell of Fury's bloated shot ghost did in round 12 of their first fight.

The WBC should order for it to happen in the UK. That would erase all issues.

It certainly would but the wbc seems to do what haymon wants them to do rather than what is fair. Wilder has no interest in taking any fights in the UK he obviously needs that reassurance of corrupt officials like he's had in has last 2 fights against the only decent opposition he's faced in over 40 fights.
