    Golovkin made a career exploding into arenas as a 100/1 favorite and idiots cheered him on. Yes, Golden Boy is right and it's about time someone finally publicly said it.

    cmon scar you are including his crap title run when you say this. Everyone knows you need to start Golovkins title run when he beat Danny Geale, not before when he was koing bums for the subeuro ibo title and interim trinket.

    Even you must admit that 3G has a fair to good run from Geale onwards.

    EVEN if you count 3G's run as starting WHEN he won a title in the ring (vs Lemmy in 2014),he still has four defences of that title that are 75% world class fights or above. Making four good IBF defences of that calibre should be applauded. It puts him level with the great Tony Zale too.
