Canelo trilogy and Jacobs rematch is out

Abel doesn’t want him to fight at 168. Andrade for the WBO, or BJS or Brant or don’t fight til September?

BJS is all risk no reward, he should go for a Callum smith fight and make some money - would be no shame in losing either.

He will keep brant like it has always been planned. His excuse will be canelo and Jacobs are taken and that he is going after a title!

He should take the Smith fight because if he wins it makes a statement

Golovkin can't afford another loss. My guess is he takes on what they perceive is the easiest title fight for him which would probably be Brant.

He totally should take that fight, but based on his track record he probably will not.

We need a "Charlo" and an "Other" option

Who will he fight next I'd whack my $$$ on "Other", I feel he either waits for Canelo vs Jacobs winner or fights a trash opponent

My preferred opponent by a country mile is Callum Smith, thats a name they were stupid enough to mention.
Don't talk the talk, walk the walk. Smith is by far the hardest fight and i'd love to see him smash the old boy to pieces.

Any of the names mentioned in the OP would be decent though imo

He should fight whoever has a belt. Andrade or Brant. Its a fools errand to fight Saunders now and Saunders has no title. Canelo does not NEED GGG anymore for anything if he does not have a title. That DAZN money is set in stone, no need to PPV gouge at all, its already in the bank. Golovkin is in a tight spot. If he goes back to the "bum" circuit without a big network to legitimize it like HBO did then he is done out this mutha no matter what you internet fans feel about it. When his PPV bombed that was the beginning of the end for GGG as a solo act.

    He’s turning 37 I don’t expect him to take a tough fight

interesting how he is not fighting much. Almost like Hagler after Hearns, which was when Marvin declined. Inactivity to a fighter who is used to being active is the worst thing.

Spent his prime not taking a tough opponent.
