Awesome, maybe he'll finally find his huevos and fight Ortiz or Wilder...... but who are we kidding? This is another publicity stunt.
Great post I know I give guys like Whyte and Parker respect for not fearing a loss,if they all face each other they may all have a loss or two in the end.
What about if he thinks he won’t win and there’s a good chance of him getting sparked out again by Joshua ? Then everything he’s doing makes sense. He’s simply trying to get as much money as he can from the Joshua fight because there’s a likely chance he could be put in hospital. Why do Joshua Fanboys not understand that AJ has lethal power which can killl ? Of course Whyte/Fury/Wilder will want big money for taking a risk like that. Hearn /Joshua and people like you are scum You want Whyte to get a lowball offer while knowing there’s a 75% of him getting sparked out unconscious . You’re SCUM
I think we need to see what the estimated gate is for Joshua V Whyte rematch before discussing splits because Dillian is a big draw in the UK, and the fight would easily fill out Wembley to the brim. He's worth more than Parker, Pov and Takam and at least as much as Klitchko at this moment in time. His in his prime, and his knockout reel has resonated well with punters. I reckon 30 per cent ish for whyte Then if he should take it and go for the fight... if he loses there is always other fights to be made with Whyte because he never disappoints and always shows up and goes down on his shield if needs be. Pov vs Whyte Ortiz vs Whyte Miller vs Whyte Can all be follow up fights for him post AJ, win or lose. He is established, plenty of money to come his way if he sticks with hearn.
Is he a big draw in the UK? In terms of perception only, I don’t think he is really. A Klitchko comeback would be a bigger deal than a Whyte fight. I know you’ll quote ‘ppv’ numbers or whatever but I’m not very interested in that as I think in this instance it’s flawed. Chisora vs Whyte does well commercially because it’s a good fight and was promoted well not because either boxer has a large fan base. I do admire, in a way, this apparently partisan support of Whyte - but I don’t think he’s anywhere near as big a star as you seem to think. One metric, albeit not a failsafe one, is Instagram followers when gauging popularity - especially within the casual market. The big 3 all have far in excess of a million followers.. Joshua has 8+. Whyte by comparison has under 300k. Even Billy Joe Saunders has more than Whyte - he’s inactive and doesn’t have the Sky millions behind him for marketing.
Whyte was offered 10 million to fight AJ. He has no belt and sold out the 02 with Parker , not sure Chisora? It doesn't really matter 10 million is by far a bigger payday he'll see from Haymon. I don't even think Wilder ever made that amount against Fury in a actual title fight and he's had 8 of them? Lol it's one thing claiming someone's low balling you but it's not the case, he won't and can't generate that money without AJ like Wilder . The difference is Wilder has a belt. Whyte risking a loss is stupid to get a few more million , he needs to shrink his head and take the fight or stop crying about raw deals.
I see you're a new account, I believe you're probably an alt or you have been banned but you just might genuinely be new to this site, welcome if you're new. Anyway, Excuse me I'm "SCUM" because of what I said on that post? Let's examine what I actually said and if the word and description of "SCUM" is in any way justified. Right, I said something along the lines of .. "It's about PPV percentages and not just about his basic purse" It's really hard to justify the word "SCUM" there, it was just Information I've seen and read .. Right what next, Oh I said.. "Whyte sold be ripping arms off as he is a voluntary defence and is still multimillions" It's an opinion based on history, how many fighters get those sorts of offers for a voluntary title challenge? Your argument is "What if Whyte doesn't think he can win" and the obvious but irrelevant comment in this conversation of "Joshua can kill people".. Well firstly Whyte is openly saying he wants the fight so he was made an offer, if he didn't believed he could win then there is no point publicly asking for the fight is there? You seem the sort who would most likely be on here saying "AJ is ducking Whyte" if there was no offer, but Whyte asked for the fight and has been offered DOUBLE is highest purse. What you're basically saying is.. "Whyte don't think he can win, but pay him ridiculously large amounts of money anyway". I honestly don't understand your logic here. If you believe DOUBLE your highest purse is being "lowballed" then we have very different ideas of being "lowballed". As for AJ or any other fighter having "lethal power", I have no idea how new your are to the sport of boxing, but every fighter, AJ, Wilder, Fury, the rest all get punched in the face by men of 16 stone plus trained fighters. They ALL (at every weight) run the risk of injury, life changing injuries or even life ending injuries, that's what they do, that's the risk they take, that's why the vast majority have a real issue when somebody calls a fighter a "coward". To call me "SCUM" for what I said, which was very basic and in my opinion and very fair actually makes you the real "SCUM" because it was clueless and insulting. But if you wanted to verbally abuse somebody I'm just glad you've chosen me and not your girlfriend, wife, child, little sibling or kicking an animal. Have a great weekend, I actually hope you get laid because you seem very angry and upset about something, maybe it's as simple as that, anyway have a good one.
So epileptic Whyte twice goes life and death with Chisora but is expected to blast out Povetkin or Ortiz?? He has no chance, Whyte is garbage I'd like to see him rematch Parker who I think would stop him
If Whyte leaves Matchroom for signing with Haymon for example it would be a first grade bull**** decision. Whyte is HW #2 in the UK, everybody wants to see the rematch with Joshua as both went on after the first fight and had some kind of development. I don't know why he wants to leave the UK market where he is a big draw and going for the US market. First, the US market is much smaller and the money is in the UK where they can fill up big football stadiums with average fights. Second, Whyte is a total nobody in the US. If it's tactics it could pay off, if he is real with that apparently he lost too many brain cells over the years and it's maybe better for him avoiding Joshua in the ring.
I guess maybe they could arrange a fight with him against Dominic B as a 'true' final eliminator or something? He ought to win that which might make it an attractive offer. If he thinks he can beat Wilder, then doing so and having a belt to negotiate with AJ puts him in a stronger position I guess. Still not sure that would make sense for him though in honesty
Feels that way. AJ vs Whyte feels too much like a 'house' fight so introduce some conflict, the lowball, Wlad, USmeetings etc.
Brezeale is all wrong for whyte imo he’d lose and I wouldn’t be surprised if whyte lost to pulev either
Come on you seriously using social media following as a gauge of being a big draw over him actually drawing good numbers twice on an actual PPV? Look at Whyte's Twitter account he's not updated it since October he clearly doesn't have a strong social media game. His fight with Parker did 474k and his fight with Chisora did 438k, it's clear he's a draw because well he actually draws.
None of what you wrote makes any sense to me. Whyte is not a big draw because he isnt popular? Perception? Twitter followers? I havent been this confused in ages. If you dont want me to quote attendance and PPV numbers to justify Whyte as a draw in the UK on three.recorded occasions then fine. If you don't want to accepy Whyte is a.UK draw.. no worries. He still is eitherway. People will pay to see him fight, it will generate interest... drive revenues.. drive business. And there isn't many heavyweights that can compete with that popularity. And this is the bottom line. This is the major factor in defining purse splits and organising boxing events.
