someones prime is about 25-28 years. So GGG's prime can be expected to be there BUT these are all about a bum club on his resume. He was literally at prospect level facing someone for an "international" belt (belt for those outside the top ten). So we have to look elsewhere, we need to look at this best win - Jacobs, his first number 1 contender win. GGG's best performance was at 34 years old. That must be the prime he is talking about, he cannot possible be talking about his prime when koing someone for the "international" prize. Only a nutjob trying to diss 3G would try to claim his prime was when knocking out bums for the "sub top ten" international belt.
Srl is one of my all time favorites. But he was never a proper miggleweight. His performance against a faded hagler was impressive. But hagler fought the wrong fight and wasn't prime Marvin. He didn't put it on ray from the start. He used the wrong style etc Ggg would put it on the smaller man from the start and grind out a win in my opinion. No disrespect to srl.
Why not? GGG slept through the early rounds against Canelo, who by any objective measure is inferior to the great SRL.
GGG just too big and strong you need some serious power to slow down GGG Sugar never had the power to hurt any middle.
Just for the comments you can see that ggg fans are mma fans or they started watching boxing the other day! They have a poor knowledge of the sport
2nd best, he was beat by lmw canelo. It is wrong for us to assume he is better tha guy who beat him. That would be like assuming that the best of current time is better than an ATG, very stupid.
LMAO!! Jacobs exposed him and Canelo already beat him. Anytime he faced a decent fighter he got beaten or exposed.
