I think at the very least he had equal talent to Floyd. He just let himself down training and diet wise. He mastered the shoulder roll, even more so than Floyd, IMO.

No, Mayweather never lost or struggled against the quality of fighter Toney did.

I put Toney on mt rushmore status. To me, he is greater than hopkins and i have no doubts about that.

I would say he is more naturally talented than Floyd but what separated them is work ethic. His shoulder roll/ counter punch is alot more fluid and consistent than Floyd’s. Offensively toney had more talents.

That isn't what talented means. You have misunderstood the premise.

Floyd is an example of someone PERFECT outside of the ring, he never drank or abused his body. Toney did.

I'm talking pure TALENT here. And if you want to list achievements, remember Toney started at 154 lbs and won a version of the Heavyweight title as a complete FAT ASS!

From whats been shown... naturally... Tony was more talented.

Work ethic was not part of the OP's question.

No, Floyd was more talented. But I actually think Toney was more skilled. Toney also proved himself against better opposition.

You don`t think Floyd could have done this to a low level opponent like the guy Toney was fighting in this vid? Floyd did this to Gatti and his head movement and countering was often like this, I don`t see any difference other than Floyd not throwing as many shots.

Floyd would have beaten Toney at 154.

Oscar being the media darling and all, the fight was close enough to a point where the judges could have robbed floyd but for some reason, floyd got lucky.
