Jacobs is a a current world champion who became champion the right not by fighting some scrub like Golovkin did and even Canelo to an extent at 168. Jacobs is also a two time world champion, and he arguably beat Golovkin, who by the way is also Golovkin's second best opponent, and has the second best resume out of all the top fighters at MW.

If Jacobs is a stay busy fight in your opinion I wonder who is a legitimate fight in your eyes.

Whoops. When I saw the threat title, I thought Clenelo had admitted publicly that he lost the two fights with GGG. My bad.

well it is a staybusy compared to his last two (undisputed AND new weight fight).

Jacobs is still 3Gs best win though, I grant you that, but this is definitely a filler fight for Canelo to keep him busy while he keeps preparing for SMW.

Crazy how some of you are still shook about Canelo beating GGG, isn't it?

Time to move on buddy, especially when Gs on trainer admitted the decision was fair.

I dislike promoters like DLH. It's not fair that GGG or Fury get robbed and lots of ppl act like it's a norm now.

They didn't get robbed. And shouldn't you hate the commission if you truly believe those were robberies?

Doesn't every commission and country have controversial decisions?

Those fights you stated are far from robberies compared to real robberies boxing has seen.

Jacobs has looked very beatable on his last few outings, nothing out of the norm for Canelo IMO.

So you're saying every other country does the same thing? No, in other countries it's a lot more honest.

Well Isal, why not just get rid of boxing judges and let GGG'S trainer make the rulings on all the fights. Think of the money it will save. Also there will never be any opposing opinions or controversy. Any dissension will be handled by just saying "Silence, the trainer has spoken." Let me think about it for a moment......nah!

I'm saying to get your head out of the sand and realize that controversial decisions are extremely common in close fights with close rounds. Whether in the U.S., England, Germany, Mexico, or any other boxing country.

And they basically always go the way of the home/A-side fighter, whether deserved or undeserved. We could disagree on particular fights, obviously sometimes the home guy legitimately wins a close one, but the overall pattern is clear. That's the biggest problem in boxing, and it's pretty much the same everywhere in the world except maybe Japan. In fact Germany, South Africa and France are even worse than the US as those who participate in the prediction league know.

The problem is that too many fans simply want their guys to win and thus turn a blind eye to this larger problem.
