I'm fairly certain that when Fury signed with Warren it was a three fight deal.

So if the WBC have ordered the Wilder Fury rematch, that means Wilder would be stripped of his title if he takes another fight. So Eddie Hearn is saying he'd give Wilder 40% of the Joshua fight without his title, I don't think so. Or will the WBC allow the unification fight even though they've already ordered the rematch with Fury?

That’s a good comparison. I thought Benn was an absolute warrior, great chin not really a good boxer imo but a great fighter. You could outbox him but he’d find a way, swinging wildly.

WBC already said they would allow an exemption for AJ.

Interesting video above. In some ways Hearn is offering something of a gamble to Wilder and Fury. Fight Joshua now for 60/40 and take home your career best purse. If you win, you get an even more lucrative rematch. However, you can also play yourself into a 50/50 position by winning in a Fury Wilder rematch if the numbers add up.

Essentially it appears that the highest reward deal is fight Joshua next, win, and then fight him again. However, the worst scenario for anyone involved appears to be take the rematch now, and the loser from that is pretty much cast aside. I don't quite agree that the latter happens with Fury, (I maintain Joshua Fury will always be a potentially massive, record breaking fight in the UK until the point that either man clearly cannot fight anymore), but with Wilder that has to be a consideration. It's absolutely not beyond the realms of fantasy that he loses against Fury, and what then? No belt, no wins since Ortiz, no Joshua payday who immediately is forced to turn his attention to Fury. It's a big risk.

Also funny to see him taking that Wilder fanboy to task on his scoring.

I assume the flat fee was something Fury and Hearn talked about before Fury's comeback. Fury likely said "I want 20 million pounds to fight AJ" or something like that.

It's just all a little too late from Hearn for me. He could've done all this six weeks ago and really heated things up. Coming in when everything is all but signed reeks of attention seeking.

Yes but it kills this myth Hearn isn't offering Fury a solid split.. Fury didn't want a split. That can stopped being talked about now, Fury doesn't want one.

And 6 weeks ago, most people wanted an automatic rematch between Fur/Wilser because they were very unhappy about the result being a draw.

Hearn would have been slaughtered by everybody saying "he is only making offers now because he knows they have to have a rematch and knows they won't take it"

Well the rematch isn't signed, offers of 60/40 are on the table and they have both vanished.

Things have heated up now, the WBC ordering the fight and it potentially going to purse bids opens everything up.

Wilder-Fury is a big fight, big fights end up in the States and in Vegas.

Joshua's never been in a fight as big as this rematch. That's why the States and Vegas aren't interested in him.

Wilder-Fury 2 will gross more than any AJ fight.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

    Wilder-Fury 2 does a minimum of 700,000 US PPV buys at $75.

That equates to 2.1 million UK PPV buys.
