Broner in megafight is biggest way to disrespect boxing

He is lucky and he has a great opportunity to win against a 40 year old guy who has to be worn out. Broner is not a top fighter but he is fighting a worn out great.

 

I agree, but a promoter as crooked as Leonard Ellerbe isn't going to drop the scumbag on moral grounds, no chance. Ellerbe probably has more corruption in one nostril than the whole of Bronner.

 

Because he is always in good fights. Sometimes I wonder if you assholes even watch boxing.

Man I absolutely agree with the title of this thread but you know people like Broner don't get the time of day in Britain. Broner appeals to that worldstar culture thats killing America.

 

Plenty of Americans enjoy seeing ignorant, obnoxious, disrespectful morons achieve success. The importance of showcasing relatable attributes in a sports personality is often overlooked.

 

Boxing is the sport of women beaters, con men, lowlifes, sycophants, and cheaters.

 

How do you figure this is a "mega fight"?! It's a PPV fight, which it clearly shouldn't be, let alone a mega fight.

 

This isn't a mega-fight.. this is a guy running the retirement circuit making money in meaningless fights.

 

I will enjoy watching broner get beat from pliilar to post and into retirement. I bet he quits on the stool or gets knocked out.

 

Broner is part of the era now. Like reality TV. Popularity for nothing and announcing how popular he is. It is so much different than Marvin Hagler and how humble he was years ago. Marvin was humble and he was dominant. Broner loses to all the top guys he fights and he still says he is the best or eludes to it.

 

I am afraid in this fight because Manny is 40 and Broner is 29. That is a huge difference. The 29 year old should win this one. But Manny was so much greater a fighter. Floyd is hoping Broner knocks out Manny so that he can maybe have an easy fight with Broner, although he is even older. I cannot see Floyd wanting a rematch with Manny or taking it. If Manny looks good Floyd might find a way out.
