Lomas stock just went way down

Never really rated the Linares win that highly anyway. Linares has a bunch of losses to guys like DeMarco who Broner beat, which goes to show you how good Linares is.

 

Loma was giving up a weight class when he fought Linares.

 

Linares started at a lower weight than Lomachenko did.

 

I don`t think Khan could have taken the shots that have knocked out any of Loma`s opponents, don`t be surprised if Crawford KO`s Khan early, Khan has great speed but it`s just a case of when rather than if Crawford KO`s him, the first good shot and Khan goes, that`s not a legacy fight at all, Khan is not rated amoung the top 10 P4P fighhters, Loma isn`t a power puncher, the guy modest fighter you are talking about probably has a more solid shot than Loma.

 

He had reach over Loma who has very short arms for fighting at lightweight.

 

Only because he punches harder than anyone 135 and under, it`s not a matter that he`s better than all of them at this stage, he`s just stronger, Rigo P4P is better than Manny right now, but certainly Manny would knock him out and anyone from his division.

 

And? Linares turned pro when he was 17.

 

Manny is no longer rated as a top 10 P4P fighter.

What the hell is it with extremes on Loma... the haters are extreme and the fans are extreme... like no middle ground.

No surprise Linares is vulnerable, always has been.

I don't disagree. Having seen a reply on youtube it's clear that Cano is clearly a weightless above Linares. As they came together in the center of the ring Cano's physical dimensions were bigger in every single way. Linares body wasn't as lean at 140 either, indicating he only carried bad weight.

If he can't make 135lbs again he's cooked.

 

What Loma is going to face in his next two fights up to summer this year are : a three titles unification match and a mandatory title defense. One against a newly crowned world champion, and another against former world champion. This fight plan will hardly 'make his stock go down'.

After that, rest assured that Mikey Garcia will be obviously his next target. Unless for some reason he loses his 135 lbs WBC belt or relinquish it. Surely, can't you wait for that long to see Loma taking his 'legacy fight' ?
