I honestly think that’s a lot of bollocks. As someone with a beard who has sparred without headgear there is honestly no difference to being clean shaven. If you really think a bit of hair is going to make a difference then I don’t know what to tell you.

Anyway Jean Pascal and Jono Carroll have boxed with thick beards so if they make AB shave it it’s just another instance of anti-Broner tomfoolery.

But the advantages of having a beard as large as that is it has to be harder to gauge the depth to the sweet spot? And its basically ballast he can shed if he needed to make weight by a few pounds lol
