    This is a middleweight fight what Roy did at 175 has no bearing. He would absolutely beat the **** out of Canelo.

    Roy fought tactically worse than Canelo would have against an inferior fighter on Griffin`s level was my point.

    The same Canelo that struggled badly vs Lara, small past prime Cotto and past prime GGG?

    Canelo would get starched, and humiliated
    Canelo is no 168lber ffs

    Canelo is way to slow footed and would hit air the whole night.
    James Toney is a more defensively blessed, bigger, stronger, harder hitting and better chin.
    Toney was outclassed and hurt multiple times, Canelo would get ktfo

    168 was probably Roys natural weight class where he was at his physical peak

    A clear off night for Jones. He lost three or four rounds, but was back in control of the fight at the time of DQ. We saw what happened in the rematch. Either way, at middleweight, Roid destroys Clenelo.

    Roy didn`t catch Toney anywhere near as much as GG caught Canelo and the shots Roy hit Toney with were not as hjard as Canelo`s punches.

    GGG was is better at cutting off the ring than Toney was and is better than Hopkins was in `93.

    GGG barely landed a decent punch on Canelo, only hit him with pitty pat Jabs
    Canelo was the bloke that landed 98% of the big punches but when GGG landed a biggy he did shake Canelo up a bit

    If GGG can land on you, Roy is going to put your lights out
