I want to see him fight Khan, Thurman and Porter, add Brook in there.

I know it’s hard to separate yourself as a fan when you score a fight. So I understand where you are coming from. You think the ref should have helped Manny in that fight. I disagree. I think Horn was rough but within the rules as they are usually applied, and if Manny was his old self he would have iced Horn, or at least beaten him decisively.

Manny is shot. I thought it then and I think it now. He needs to stay away from top level competition.

Wow talk about subjective, how amazing is boxing?only today whilst watching AJ v Wlad with a mate he asked me how AJ would do against Fury, bearing in mind he’s clueless about boxing I had to explain that it’s unlikely Fury would hurt Joshua or knock him out but that it was highly likely he could win on pointsand I could see he was a little confused as he presumed Fury was a KO artist.
Re Horn I do get it and I’m aware of how much I hate the Andre Ward style of fighting of roughing guys up,tying em up ect and racking up rounds.Ward could do it all but chose in big fights to win like he did as it’s such an old fashioned way of boxing nobody in his era had any answers for it.
CST80 said Horn would be a problem for anyone bar Crawford so he knew what he was seeing that night against Manny, what about Teddy Atlas comments though after the fight about a robbery?as that’s the way I saw it but conceded that a younger Manny would not of allowed him to survive round nine.

Have to say whilst I hate Canelo as a person I’m always impressed by how clean and pure a fighter he is in the ring, twenty four rounds between Canelo and Golovkin and hardly a Ref needed throughout lol, that’s impressive no?

Retiring now would be great for him. He has a legendary career. Fighters always want to see what more they can do.. At 40 he is fighting well. but he has not had tough competition . Mathysse and Broner are not really tests which show if he is tops. Someone like Porter or Garcia would prove more. Thurman really would. I am surprised no one talks about that.

In almost all cases once a fighter is well into their thirties the answer to this question is yes. Manny is 40, of course he should retire healthy and enjoy all the accolades he's earned as a genuine atg.

However he won't, this is all leading to mayweather as others have said. Fine I get it, but he shouldn't be taking on the 20 something's at the top of the division, he needs to be out of that conversation.

How old would he be by the time he fights all four of those? Manny suffered a detatched retina v Broner also, his fight with Brook would be interesting based on there potential life altering injuries.

Crawford vs Khan winner would be a decent next step forward, although that seems very unlikely.

If Mayweather doesn’t want to fight again and honestly there’s no point, Thurman has the WBA belt. Would be a good fight to finish that contract.

It would be a foolhardy step forward.

I am in favor of Manny hangin' em' up now if he can with one caveat: were he to truly dedicate himself to a style change a la Barrera after Jr Jones and later BHop, using his experience and knowledge in the ring to maximize what's left of his athleticism and fight safety first as a spoiler type. To win by craft and guile and artifice rather than steamroll opponent after opponent.

However, maybe that's no longer an option with that detached retina?

    What about his detatched retina?
