Sells out 80,000 stadiums routinely. Pretty sure he's ok at the moment but hey go to MSG and beat up the fat boy then go back to the main stage. No problem.

He's never going to be a household name in Alabama until he fights Wilder in Alabama.

If he calls out Joshua for fighting 'no hopers' imagine what he thinks of Wilder

That’s true and it’s a wonderful thing, but as a promoter Arums probably speaking from a financial viewpoint, the US is still far and away the biggest and most lucrative PPV market in the world.

It’s a very arrogant comment, centring everything to the U.S. The idea that what’s seen as valid in the U.S automatically applies elsewhere, is plain stupid. Certainly ignorant.

His no hopers claim seems laughable also, and discredits what he’s saying further.

Putting that aside, fighting in the U.S would certainly expand his fan base.

Think the bodybuilder's fans will be hard to get over to the states. Since the majority of them were banned from football hooligasm in the late 90s euros, lol.

It's certainly a lucrative market, and if Joshua wants to make his brand go global he definitely needs to fight there at some point.

Not sure who in America is better than Wlad, Parker and Povetkin though. At a push Wilder's on a similar level, but that'd make him a no-hoper as well.

AJ made $47m last year. Apparently this helps him sleep at night when people tell him how 'desperate' he must be to fight in the US. Well that and watching the look on Fury or Golovkin's face when the scorecards are read out.

Bob Arum on a poor wind up as usual. AJ is number one with Ring Magazine and Boxrec, has the strongest record in the division by some distance has 3 of the 4 World titles (with the other title holder having no intereet in fighting him) and is the biggest money making boxer in the sport.

when the usa has a champ as big and as popular as joshua, thats when he goes.
until then, he is making more at home in the uk.

wilder and miller are not big or popular.
