Callum Smith, Josh Kelly, Joshua Buatsi someone like that will be getting groomed into taking the the PPV baton

or he'll just stack the cards with decent fights including Charlie Edwards, Kal Yafai in world title fights and heavyweight fights involving Usyk, Chisora, Price, Allen and make it into a PPV event

No chance will PPV die off, Hearn would never let that happen

 

Arum describing Povetkin, Klitschko, Parker and Whyte as 'no hopers.' He's either gone senile or failed to realise boxers no longer have to go to America to earn big money.

 

Buatsi - potentially but only a few years down the line.
Kelly - no balls after his last showing with D.A. and will be matched too carefully to warrant PPV.
Okolie - Ugliest style going - stunk out AJs last PPV. Was awful to watch vs Chamberlain too.
Ritson - will never fight above European level so fight wont be big enough for PPV.

 

Pandora's box has been opened now. They'll be analysing every fighter on Matchroom's books and looking 2, 3, 4 weight classes each way for any opponent that could possibly make a Haye/Bellew style pantomime.

absoultely no evidence to suggest that Josh Kelly **** it from DA it’s just the ramblings of a bitter manager and some people on here who would hate Eddie Hearn and matchroom if he cured cancer, solved world hunger and gave them £50 on the same day.

 

Matchroom ain’t losing Whyte anytime soon, what’s he’s other options ? Carry on making millions on Matchroom or go to Frank Warren and fight once a year on a stacked card against a European champion ?

 

Apart from Clit - Arum is spot on with only old man Povetkin capable for a few rounds but it would have been a huge upset given his demolition by Clit in Russia years earlier.

Yeah, there's a huge difference between the top 3 and the rest. The rest of the top 10 are either well over the hill (Ortiz Povetkin and Pulev), or guys who are there to make the numbers and would still lose to those old men (Parker, Whyte, Miller and Breazeale/Kownacki).

There's more evidence to suggest that he did **** it than there is that he was genuinely ill! And now strong rumours that he's moving up in weight too would only support that.

That's the heavyweight division in a nutshell. Lads on here getting off on AJ's multiple defences need to get a grip. Credit to AJ for getting in shape and performing well but really, only Klitschko and Povetkin are worth talking about.

Likewise, Fury only really has his performances against Klitschko and Wilder to brag about. Wilder has Ortiz KO and a couple knockdowns against Fury.

The point I'm making is that AJ, Fury and Wilder will be judged on how they perform against each other. Those fights will define their legacies including Klitschko and all the Brezeale's, Parker's and Whyte's in the world won't change that because they're so far behind the top three.

 

I like pudding. Possibly off topic but every time Jurgen calls someone a pudding I get visions of a nice pudding with custard. Not a Takam, Parker or Whyte pudding though, that would be weird.
