That's random. Hearn has purposely sabotaged all his fights with Warren by putting on big shows of his own on the same night. I'd imagine Frampton vehemently dislikes him.

 

Frampton mentioned staying on for world title shots. The irony is he might get one easier after taking a beating from Josh Warrington.

I'd be interested to see how Frampton looks against someone with a less intense style than Josh. Josh was just all wrong for him and he used the worst tactics possible by standing and trading with him. He went rogue and ignored Moore's instructions.

I think Frampton needs another fight to see where he is. Can he still threaten the top guys? At worst he's a good name on their resume and could get a decent payday.

Exactly. Klitschko and Povetkin had a combined age of 80 when facing AJ and were both well over the hill. You just had to see Povetkins performances against Hammer and Rudenko to see how old he had become. I'm a huge fan of Ortiz and feel that he's the 4th best HW and he fought well against Wilder, but even he showed his age and gassed a bit towards the end of that fight so yeah, it's all still up in the air as to who is the best between the 3.

This may be one of the reasons why Hearn wants Miller for AJ now instead of Whyte. He can have two seperate PPVs instead of one with Joshua vs Miller & Whyte vs his next opponent. Sky will want a guaranteed amount of PPv dates.

 

I don’t deny he’s probably a bit miffed with Hearn, but out of Hearn or Warren, who do you think is more likely to deliver fight Carl craves - LSC? Cos he put an absolutely nobody in there with him at Windsor Park, that was an even bigger mugging than Hearn’s crap.

 

It will obviously take a few years but I could see them trying to make PPV fighters out of Buatsi and Wardley as they're strong, quick KO artists who have charisma.
