I will be pretty shocked if they outsell the Pacman, but I hope they do. It shows a bit of a resurgence for the casual boxing fan.

Well when Garcia fought Broner it wasn't PPV, so he clearly isn't as big a draw as current old Pac was vs Broner andSpence Jr is really only known by hardcore fans so doesn't bring a big fan base either.

So logically it shouldn't do as much as Pac/Broner as neither of them are proven bigger draws. But the the match up is a better one than Pac/Broner and so I think it could do a similar number to the 400K, anything between 300-500K is possible.

Fox has never promoted a boxing PPV, but I think they will do a good job with the promotion which will get them around 250,000 buys.

 

You’re thinking purely from a boxing fans point of view. The fight has limited casual fan appeal, I don’t think it beats the Manny fight I’m surprised done as much as it did. 300k I reckon.

 

Well let’s see you have mares who already has headline a couple of cards ,,, won a tournament. Then you have Mikey Garcia who has been getting a ton of airtime in Spanish media included espn. He has also already been a main event but neither have been a Ppv main event! Spence has never headlined a major card! Not Ppv either. Well tank has never headlined a main card either but has a following on social media. I think this fight does 600-700k thanks to the Mexican fan base that mares and Garcia will bring. It’s all over Spanish television and everybody is talking about his big challenge and balls! I’m hoping it does more but I think 600-700k is good.
