    I found it surprising that I couldn't find a thread on this.

    Who've you got?

    I'll note the earlier parts of the Nelson fight show Gans jabbing and moving very well. I think I'd give Gans the edge.

    Well both are in my top 7 ATG’s, Armstrong at 3 and Gans at 7. Don’t feel like I have enough evidence for my pick but lean towards an Armstrong decision

    Incredibly close fight. I rate Armstrong higher but Gans has fought a similar iron-chinned workhorse in Nelson, though not the same caliber of infighter

    Might take Armstrong by close SD based on aggression and workrate

    Armstrong would win most of the rounds IMO.

    Maybe Armstrong but that just shows how great he was...too maybe beat gans

    I think the result may depend on the bout distance.
    12 - 15 rounds I would pick Armstrong clearly IMO, but past that it's harder to see him keep up the frenetic pace for, say, 45 rounds, even with his abnormal conditioning.

    I'm with you here. ATG P4P I have Armstrong at 4 and Gans at 8. Gun to my head, I'll go for Armstrong.
