What would be Canelo's ATG rating if he defeats all the top middle weights by home decisions, similar to GGG fight where 75 prrcent of people thought he lost?
He'll have one of the best resumes on paper, but every top victory is disputed and would be a loss if not for DLH.
Technically, somebody like Valuev or mcCall could go undefined for their entire careers if promoted by DLH, simply because you can't hurt them with punches.

If he defeats all the top middleweights I'll rate him high . I got no excuses for the man he did move up to 160 fought the #1 guy there twice . A guy everyone said (including myself ) that GGG was ko ginger. Now he's aiming for undisputed good for him . I of course am betting on Jacobs bjs and Charlo all to beat cinnamon. If he however beats them then he deserves my credit

Would you rate mcCall as a top 10 HW ATG if he won every single fight in the 90s just by surviving 12 rounds?

Virgil Akins the 50s welterweight champion was owned by gangster Frank Palermo who fixed his fights. Same with Johnny Saxton, Palermo and Frankie Carbo fixed Saxton's fights against Kid Gavilan and Carmen Basilio. They fixed Basilio's fight with Billy Graham and LaMotta's fight with Billy Fox. Maybe, Canelo will be remembered like Johnny Saxton who was almost good enough to beat the best, but needed a little help. Or maybe like Sonny Liston, a guy with obvious talent who none the less wasn't on the up and up. Carbo, Palermo, and John Vitale are the ones who told Liston to take a dive against Ali which tarnished his career.

I`m not saying you are completely wrong, but it`s odd comparing Canelo to low level fighters like McCall and Valuev.

MacCall has a KO victory over one of the top ATGs Lewis, which is better then any of Canelos so called 'victories'.
Valuev also had a similar career to Canelo where he went 48 and 0 winning mostly disputed UDs over old Holy, and boring clincher Ruiz. He only lost when Don King decided to get rid of him, otherwise he could go on to win 50 more fights. He could probably even win a wide UD over Wlad and Vitaly if they would fail to KO him cold.

Are you comparing Lewis (pre-steward) and a 40 year old Holy to GGG? WTF? Lewis got out-jabbed by Bruno in `93, GGG`s jab is amazing by comparison.

Oddly enough he’d be rated as highly with losses to Golovkin, you always feel with Canelo that his big fights are gonna be close, points decisions which does separate him from other PFP fighters.

I’ve always said Canelo would be better at 160 and above as that is his weight class, you could say it making 154 and looking like death on the scales was more impressive than him at Middleweight.
That lil cinnamon thing is BS,the very fact he’s fought at super middleweight blows that psy op out of the park imo.

This is utter bull****. There are 2.3333333333333(and so forth) fights that some people remain butthurt about: Lara, 1st GGG and the one judge that had him beating Floyd. Out of 54 contests. Every (or nearly so?) ATG, GOAT candidate, HoFer has Ws that most people who saw it think ought to be Ls. Some famous guys seem to get those early in their career. Look at DLH himself, the object of your moronic ***gotry, who got Ws against Sweet Pea and JCC that alot of people didn't like. But then what happened? He started losing the close ones (Mosely) and not so close ones (Trinidad) and his body of work ends up being dissed by ridiculous morons (like you) that DKSAB in places like this.

These fights that people get stupid about are fights between elites. They are well matched (even if you hate them) and usually compete closely. The judges aren't always going to agree with who you think won the fight. Hang around. Maybe Jacobs will get outboxed by Canelo but the judges will see it the other way. He's due for some of that kind of luck...

I don't know what that is.

On topic: and Bob doesn't? Nor Al? Nor Eddie? Nor Frank? Nor etc? Who has the deepest pockets and hence the most influence ultimately? It ain't DLH. To say that the only way Jacobs wins a decision is by KO is fanboy bull****.

Theres money in Canelo winning. He has the biggest "boxing passionate" nation backing him.

Same as AJ in England, he will have the favorable officials for himself.
