If anything, making someone quit (I'm talking about a full-on "I don't want to continue anymore" No Mas, à la Walters against Loma) is a more impressive way of winning than ironing someone out.

 

A lot of these fighters were saved by the bell. Stumbling around punch drunk.

 

Matthysse was gun shy because of his eye and just simply didn't
wanna take damage. He literally quit.

There is no one at the top end of WW that Pac could even
conceivably stop.

 

I think Pac could KO Crawford and Thurman. Little Gamboa had Crawford janky-legged and clinching for dear life and shot Collazo had Keith Thurman on the verge of being knocked out from a body shot. He probably can't stop Porter, Garcia, or Spence.

 

AB might be the least entertaining fighter to watch due to low output but he could take a set of brass knuckles on the chin and still get up to finish the round

 

Doesn't mean Manny can replicate any of that. It's also a bit of a stretch to say either was in serious trouble, and more
importantly, both roared back and finished the opponents.

example: Lovemore N'dou got dropped with a 1-2 combination by Paulie of all people and yet was known as a stone chinned animal...........
There's a long list of guys that have stood stone strong against certain opponents that have been hurt against opponents you'd never thought they'd be hurt against.
