How could Wladimir Klitschko have a glass chin?

Look, first of, I am a keen admirer of Wladimir Klitschko. I like the way he dominated the division for a decade. However I noticed one thing: he is very susceptible to punches in the face. Very. I think he and his trainers also noticed this weakness years ago, and developed the jab defence and clinching technique.
Nobody could have gotten through his jabs for a decade. If someone could and start punching him in the face, he quickly clinched. Until he faced the boxers with similar size to him, Fury and Joshua. He couldn't clinch them.
Actually, he tried to clinch Fury like he did to other boxers, but Fury was a giant and too powerful, therefore it didn't work.. Fury also surprised Wladimir with his weird movements. thus a surprised Klitschko didn't know what to do losed the match. It was totally the mistake of his trainer, Jonathan Banks. He is a terrible trainer. He should have analyzed Fury and led Wladimir the way to beat Fury.
Anyways, after the first match, Wladimir noticed his own mistakes and prepared differently for the rematch. He wouldn't grab Fury, he would just go for the KO. When Fury ran away from him twice, Wladimir noticed Fury wouldn't face him again and faced Joshua instead.
Wlad fought Joshua the way he would fight Fury. Therefore we watched a Klitschko which we were not used to. As a result, we watched one of the best heavy weight boxing match of the decade.
However, as I stated before, Wlad has a very weak chin. When AJ started punching him, he quickly drropped. His brother Vitali on the other hand had a great chin and also had better boxing skills.
If Wlad wants to come back, he should consider this. He should develop a new tactic to avoid the shots of giant-sized boxers, because he can't clinch to them.

Wlad shouldn't come back at all. There's no need whatsoever. He's set his legacy as a long standing HW champ, essentially dominated a decade of boxing. His chin was his Achilles heel, and would be even more susceptible to a KO or KD should he return.

That being said, a fight versus Ortiz would be interesting. As well as a a bout w/ Parker. But against either AJ or Fury, I believe he'd lose again. Worse actually.

He was never knocked out, but tko'd, was always stopped on his feet. So I wouldn't say he has a glass jaw but he doesn't have that heart which his older meaner brother have.

One could argue that because he realized his chin was not iron he adapted and became the champ he became.

WK chin wasn't bad. However, he never had good stamina and he seemed to panic whenever he was in trouble, which usually made it worse.

I didn't see any panic from O5 to 15. I saw WK winning again and again.

It wasn’t a bad chin but it wasn’t his big brothers either.

He packed some glass in there but he lost to Fury and Joshua because he was old , not because of their size. As those two pack more glass than Wlad. He looked shot against Jennings . He should have retired after he fought Jennings.
If you could please let me know a boxer who was still on top at the age of 40 .

You don’t become undisputed and undefeated HW champion for 10 years straight beating all the best contenders with a weak chin.

Absolutely ludicrous post. The OP needs to seek professional help.

There isn’t any HW champion in the past 60 years, who has faced the best and not been knocked down and knocked out.

Even “granite chinned” Holyfield was laid flat out by James Toney and stopped by Riddick Bowe.

It’s part of HW boxing at the highest level

He proved his chin to be underrated. Never stopped on the canvas like a true warrior.

Glass? No. You can't have 65 fight's or whatever, & get stopped what? 4 times! & be called glass jawed.. It's as ridiculous as suggesting someone with 4 wins & 61 ko losses is iron chinned!

Glass chin, probably not as bad as some think but he was ko'ed by less than the best and his reign was over some really average fighters. I don't rate him historically as high as some.
