Prime Morrison vs the Holmes of the Norton fight. How does it go?

    Holmes UD for post-Mercer Morrison

Holmes by late stoppage after getting knocked down early for pre-Mercer Morrison

I think Larry stops him in about 6 rounds by TKO. Larry had quick hands and a decent right and his jab would have hurt Morrison. Morrison was strong, but no match for a guy like Larry.

I think Larry wears him down and stops him in 9. Maybe sooner.

I would say Holmes UD. Think Tommy would give him some trouble early though.

Holmes wins every round up until the stoppage in 7. He has Tommy hurt early and often. As predictable as the sun rising tomorrow.

As unexpected as an "asteroid" hitting the right spot.

    :D

    Holmes in 1993 probably wins.

Holmes easy decision or stoppage. A stoppage somewhere from round 8 on wouldn't surprise.

If two boxers share an opponent and one guy schools him and takes his zero but the other doesn't even know that he was just horrifically knocked out in the post fight interview....

I see your point. Especially when one is in his prime and the other way past it.

Holmes by decision, or late stoppage.
