Another poster summed this one up perfectly - fun fight.

Should be a good watch whilst it lasts, not necessarily fireworks all the way through but interesting to see how it unfolds.

In terms of being a meaningful fight - pointless - otherwise, might be ok until one gets more knackered than the other ... round three then

It will be an entertaining fight, fought at a slow pace.

I think Browne gets the knock out. He will have been in a decent camp and got his doses correct. So I expect him to be in better shape and with the bigger punch to get on top.

It will be a war of attrition this one.

This only merits supporting a main event. It isn’t a main event type fight.

This will depend on who trains the hardest. I would love to see a fully fit Dave Allen who has taken his training seriously. I'm not saying he would be a world beater but he could easily be British standard if he was more professional. Unfortunately I think we have never seen a peak Dave Allen so I'm hoping he looks good and wins easily.

I like fights like this, it's not boxing but it's entertainment.

Two fat sluggers with poor stamina, two fat white blobs of sweaty flesh slapping against each other lol it's fun.

Sad thing is if Allen actually got in shape he could be a half decent fighter instead of a comedy act

This is FOTY candidate on paper. I expect Allen to gas after two rounds, Browne to be badly cut after one round and the rest will be blood, sweat and tears, both guys giving and taking heavy bombs.

I agree mate, I’ve said forever he has Hughie’s number, and quite easily if it can only get made. People seem to think Hughie is good because of his name, I’d like to see their excuses when their favourite hate on man kos him

What does Price do if he can't get him out of there quickly though? Would be a Hughie shutout, probably stoppage when Price engine or heart goes.

I know what you’re saying, but Price was nowhere near gassing vs Povetkin when he was stopped in the 5th was it. If Price boxes the way he can Hughie wouldn’t be able to skirt around the ring the way he likes for more than a few rounds before he needs to actually go for it, which would be at such a ***** pace that I believe Price could deal with.

I could be wrong but I’ve said for years Hughie is the perfect opponent for Price.

Yeah, it was the fifth. I feel Price's tank was empty, however. Povetkin caught him beautifully, but Price's engine was totally gone. Fair play, as just a differing opinion here, but I feel Hughie completely would skirt around him successfully. When's the last time Price went more than 6 rounds against decent enough opposition without being knocked out? Pulev and Parker are better boxers and couldn't stop him and they have infinitely better engines and boxing IQ's than Price.

Good points mate. Suppose I just feel that, on a good night when the nervous energy hasn’t sapped Price dry he would have as good a ring iq as those men you mention. After all he is an Olympic bronze medalist. Obviously as you must know Pulev has great amateur pedigree, so it is a close one. I suppose a lot of it would come down to the night.

If you look at how Allen did in his last fight, I think he could really struggle here. Quite a funny guy at times but an accident waiting to happen, he has to win this otherwise he might as well hang his gloves up.

Browne is looking on far better condition at the moment, he's taking this very seriously I think.

Why didn't Browne take Whyte seriously? Bigger fight than this and came in badly out of shape.
