I haven't seem enough of Spence. The issue with Spence is that he doesn't move his head at all. So Thurman will be landing on him.
Spence's lack of head movement and Thurman's bicycling ability IMO give Thurman the edge.
Keith definitely wasn't at his best last night, so I am judging him by his earlier fights.

 

I'm not mad or taking it personally — just pointing out that's silly to criticize Pac if he wins but doesn't KO Thurman.

BTW — Cotto, Hatton, Diaz, Clottey, Margarito, Rios, Vargas, Mosley, Bradley, Matthysse, and Broner ALL PROMISED to go to war and KO Pac... ALL but Margarito and Hatton quickly abandoned their game plan and went into survival mode after the first round. You should criticize those dudes for not delivering on their promise.

No, I'm saying it's silly to hold on to the "don't make excuses if Pac doesn't KO Thurman" line. Because like I said, world class fighters will hear the final bell if they go out of their way to not get KO'd.

If Broner tried to walk Pac down like he did Mikey and Maidana, do you think he hears the final bell? Keep in mind that Pac had him in serious trouble while Broner was running.

 

pac beats thurman. and i dont have to modify any previous predictions about either fighter because i have yet to be wrong about either of them.

 

I think people are being too hard on Thurman. He has been out for a long time.

Pacquaio is susceptible these days to movement, and he has looked better recently against plodders. Broner moved but can't move effectively, while Thurman at his best can. He's also longer than Broner and changes angles. I don't think Thurman would do well with Spence, but I'd favor him slightly over the faded Pac.

 

Soon as Thurman tastes the left, he will get on his bike and ride a 10k like a *****.

I doubt Keith fights a top 3 welter next after that s h I t performance.
Plus, I know porter is down to make that fight vs pac happen and that would be a more exciting style matchup.
I look for Thurman to take another tune up like a Peterson or Danny g.
If Thurman takes the fight vs pac it’s because it’s the biggest money match up of the 3 top welters and homeboy cashing out.

 

Possibly right but who knows but we all agree we want to see pac fight someone at the top. I would definitely pay for Porter pac

 

Porter vs pac seems like the next logical matchup to me.
I think because of styles it is an easier matchup for pac. I think kt will just move and move.
Believe me, al haymon isn’t setting pac up until he’s juiced another few big paydays out of him.
Plus if pac beats a top 5 that makes the mayweather fight that much bigger.
