It's not an opinion because I can't prove it ? Um you don't have to prove opinions you prove facts not opinions there are some people here that didn't see it as racism others that did . At the end of the day they are just opinions it's as simple as that

Man you are dense as ****. If you say you WOULD NOT DO THAT, and then turn around and say its not racist. Ok then go do exactly that. Yet you won't. Point proved.

But what if a white fighter was to say that a black fighter is coming to collect a paycheck so he can buy all the fried chicken he wants? 100% guarantee that there would be an uproar despite 9/10 people of any race loves fried chicken.

You really don't get it. One ethnicity doesn't have carte blanche on being racist victims.

Hell I love how puts so much confidence into his fighters great guy to have in your corner . Even if his prediction didn't come true he gives his fighters alot of confidence he predicted that PAC would stop margarito in ten Rounds and cotto would ko Canelo both of which didn't happen .but cotto and Pac believed in the faith Freddie had in them so that gave them confidence and they both performed very well against their opponents

    Its racist and not racist.

Mocking a cockney accent is one thing, how can it be racist? You're mocking a region.

Mocking an Asian or Filipino accent is another. Basically, you're mocking everyone from that country because they speak a certain way when they try to speak English.

And as people have already pointed out, context is everything. I mimic a Jamaican accent all the time, but I do it because it sounds cool, trying to mimic an accent of a nation to clown them or because you think it sounds stupid/laughable is another matter. Its the same as mimicking Indian accents which I also do, but I don't have millions of people watching me see me ridicule it and think its ok. If I did, I'd be a lot more careful with my words, not just because I don't want to be seen as a racist kunt but because you don't really want to promote that sort of disrespectful behaviour at a large scale.

To put it simply, if you're white, try going to the "hood" and start talking, and purposely speaking ebonics. Say it in a mocking, insulting way. Say "aks" instead of "ask" - in a mocking way. - Some may perceive it as racist, some may just think you're an idiot, but you gotta admit, put in context, it is at the very least mildly offensive. In this case, Thurman is probably offending a lot of people who might have similar accent to Pac.

Asians usually don't shout about racism, they just keep their head down and get to work. That's why its the most successful demographic in the US. Ain't got no time to be a victim.

BTW, the way Thurman did it I didn't find offensive at all. Looks like he was just making fun of Manny and not a race. Could have been done much worse.
