Since Kownacki knocked out Washington quicker than Wilder does that mean Wilder`s win over Washington was overrated at all? This content is protected
Washington and Shpilka were outboxing Wilder before he landed a big shot. Seems like Wilder is a third tier fighter without his power. That's why the only top 20 fighters he beat are Stevern, and the fat old guy Ortiz.
Fat boy Ortiz? That fat boy still beats joshua and whyte!!! The Coward Whyte doesn't have the heart to fight the oldman
Ortiz would barely land a glove on AJ before he gets blasted out. Whyte takes him out in 5. The man is old, overrated and glass jawed.
Wilder is patient and waits for opportunity's to come his way. Thats his style. Washington and Spilky wouldn't have seen round 2 if he fought the same way Kownacki does.
AJ would be much harder to beat than Whyte and I would like to see Ortiz v Kownacki and the winner fight AJ.
He does what he does, he knows he is going to concede rounds in his quest for a KO. But its risky at the top of the division. He got away with it against 30 something bums but when his opposition got to names we know we started to see him get out boxed and hit and hurt but his knock outs came anyway so he got through them. But hes had 2 tasters at the top level, only tasters, we all know about Ortiz not even being passed fit to fight and we all know a far from peak and still ring rusty Fury straight up beat him. Kownacki walking straight through Washington didnt really tell us anything new about how poor a fighter Wilder is.
pretty much shoots a hole in fury too. this obese plodder is way better than wilder, who fury drew with.
Did it occur to your minds that maybe both Spitlka and Washington fought a very defensive fight against Wilder. Because... Wilder. And they both fought totally different fight against this unknown fat Polak. Wilder would ko this fat boy.
Anyone who rated the Washington win for Wilder doesn't know chit about boxing. Washington has always been awful, thought he was Charles Martin level but in fact he's even worse. He wouldn't even beat David Price. He's basically the American version of David Price but with no power and terrible footwork. As for how it reflects on Wilder, Kownacki is a come forward pressure fighter while Wilder is more a patient sniper, so not surprisingly it took Wilder longer. Plus Wilder was coming off an injury for that fight. If it reflects poorly on anyone it's Miller. Miller is a come forward volume puncher like Kownacki but it took Miller much longer to deal with Washington. Kownacki clearly hits harder of the two, despite Miller having 50lbs on him.
